This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.
Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.

I’m personally doing this challenge in remembrance of my son Kamrin Elers who died last year of a massive heart attack at 37..
My son was young, he was fit, he worked his finger to the bone but still he left us all behind.
Kamrin was a great man loved by all, both young and old, help anyone and everyone.
I want to do this for him, for me, so I’m asking if anyone has a spare $2 or $5 please donate to this great cause.
It says I’m gonna do 50 kms but I’ll do more..it’ll keep me focused on my mokos in Hastings and Taranaki where he called home…
