The strongest, loving and most kindest man I’ll ever know.

He went through two aortic heart surgeries just six weeks apart. His first operation gave us six more weeks and then his second.. gave us another 18 years!! His surgeon told us we could hope for 10–12 years but we were so lucky to get more!!!

I’m walking for him. I’m walking for every whānau who knows what it’s like to sit in a hospital room hoping for more time. And for every nurse, doctor, and health practitioner who makes miracles like his possible.
