Support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts

This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.

My husband, Pete has lived much of his life with heart issues  from having Rheumatic Fever as a child.  Almost two years ago he had open heart surgery to replace one valve and repair another.  The results have been life changing!  We are forever grateful for the amazing job the heart team at Auckland Hospital did. 

Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand.   Thousands of lives are impacted by this disease every single day.  

Losing Mum suddenly to undiagnosed heart disease in 2019 has had a big impact on myself and my own family.
