Please support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts
This month Wiki and I are raising money for the New Zealand Heart Foundation by taking part in their MyMarathon fundraiser.
Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and some of you may know that I had my own experience earlier this year. Luckily for me I had all the advantages that many others don't - an awareness of family history, a health professional for a spouse and the financial means to have the best treatment delivered in a timely manner when the issue arose. Unfortunately many kiwis don't have those advantages and have far worse outcomes.
If you're interested, you can read the whole story here:

The NZ Heart Foundation does essential work funding research and the education of our medical professionals and raising awareness and understanding of heart disease. If you can afford to support them continue their life-saving work, that would be wonderful.
