This May, my Partner and I are taking on MyMarathon to walk 126km in honour of my late father, Paneta Sila🕊️
He was a dialysis warrior for 15 years before we lost him to cardiac arrest on September 7th, 2022.
Our team name “His Fight, Our Finish Line,” represents the strength and resilience he showed throughout his journey. Every kilometre we walk reflects the fight he carried for so many years. For us, the finish line is more than just distance it’s about honouring his strength and carrying it with us all the way to the finish line.
We’re raising funds for the Heart Foundation to support life-saving heart research and help other families going through similar journeys.
