Passing on the KM’s
So as you may have read in my last update, I had a heart operation scheduled for this month. That was carried out on Thursday 16th, and I ended up spending the night in hospital recovering. There is no chance I’m getting the remaining KM’s done while I continue to recover, so I’m passing them on to my Dad. I appreciate all the support I have received over the past couple of days, it’s helped me a lot.Changes on my end.
Unfortunately due to a knee injury I can’t run, but I will still be walking 100kms this month. I’ve also been booked in for an operation on my heart this month. It’ll be a battle, but I’ll do my best to get there!Support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts
This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.
Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease.
Heart disease is the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
