Support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts

In 2013 as a Beginning Teacher I got very sick. This was a gradual decline in my health due to an aortic valve that wasn't working which left me breathless just from walking.

I was put into a coma and had open heart surgery where my aortic valve was replaced. Heart disease is a very real problem in our country and especially with Māori and Pasifika people.

That is my why and the reason I am getting involved.
