It’s looking very likely I will be doing a 42km run.If I reach my $2000 goal I’ll run a full marathon
It won’t be an at an event it won’t be flash it won’t be fast but if I get to $2000 I’ll go out and run 42kms in the street one day in May!Raising money in memory of my Dad Colin Lister
My dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack at 61, with no warning signs. I want to do something to raise awareness about heart health, as it’s been on my mind a lot since his passing. Now, with my two girls in my life, it really hits home how much I want to be around for them for as long as I can.
Most of the runs I’ll be doing will be training runs, but any amount I can raise would mean a lot. I started this thinking it would be cool to raise maybe $100 while I do my running, and that if I got the odd $5 or even $10 donation, that would be incredible. But here I am, not even started yet, and I’ve almost raised $1,000. That’s amazing, so I thought I’d better take this a lot more seriously.
