Support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts

This May, I’m taking on a challenge that means a lot to me. I’ll be walking the length of a marathon over the month — something that feels both achievable and meaningful as I navigate life with a recent chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis. Running a marathon isn’t on the cards for me right now, but moving my body in a way that supports my health and helps others absolutely is.

I’m doing this as part of MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research here in Aotearoa. Every 90 minutes, someone in New Zealand dies from heart disease. It’s our biggest killer, and far too many families are affected by it every single day. If I can contribute even a small part toward changing that, then every step will be worth it.
