This May, I’m running 100kms for the Heart Foundation — for a cause that means everything to me.
My little sister was born with four holes in her heart, and we lost her. That kind of loss never leaves you — it stays with you in everything you do.
Heart disease is still the biggest killer in New Zealand, and no family should have to go through that kind of pain and heartbreak.
I’m doing this for her, and for every family affected — to help fund research and give others a chance at more time with the people they love.
