First of the month - A Simple Walk, A Bigger Goal

I felt the need to walk today. The sun was shining brightly, offering a perfect moment to be active and present as the season begins to change. It was a chance to slow down, move my body, and simply be.

I’ve set myself a goal of completing 42.2 km. I’ll start with a 2.28 km walk, then build toward 10 km long runs each weekend. Step by step, run by run.

Consistency is key.

This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.

Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
