To those who are close to me know that I’m a little sister to 3 angels. My big brother John Eric was only 15yo when he passed away from his congenital heart disease. I don’t have many memories of him but I remember having such a caring and protective brother. He lives within every stories told by our family members and whenever I see his beautiful smile in photographs. I would like to run in his honour and my two sisters who also passed away at such young age of 24 (Jill) and 30 (Jorgerette)

This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.

Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
