From Surgery to Start Line: My Heart Mission
This May, I’m doing something that means the world to me. I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise money and also awareness for heart research.
This isn’t just another fundraiser. This is deeply person to me.
I know what it feels like to be scared, to be unsure of what’s next, to rely on the incredible work of doctors and researchers to keep going.
Every 90 minutes, someone in New Zealand dies from heart disease. That could’ve been me, but I’m here and while I am, I want to make a difference.
This challenge is my way of giving back. For everyone who’s fought through it. For those we’ve lost. And for those who are still fighting.
Please, if you can, donate to my page. Help me raise funds that will lead to better treatments, more hope, and more time for people like me.
Thank you from the bottom of my very grateful heart.
