I have already started walking having done 19kms already, but the hard work starts next week. I plan to walk 5kms a day so I will be walking 155kms at least by end of May.

Not only is this an exceptionally worthwhile and life-saving cause, I also will be helping to keep my heart healthy.

Guess what?! I’ve already reached my initial goal, so now I’m aiming for the next level $470.

I have always supported the Heart Foundation but more recently heart health challenges have touched our family. We are incredibly grateful for all Heart Foundation do to support those affected by heart conditions.

This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.

Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
