Support my challenge to save Kiwi hearts

This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives, just like it saved mine.

Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.

May 28th 2026 will be one year since I had open heart surgery to replace my leaking aortic valve with a mechanical one. What better way to celebrate the dramatic improvement to my life and health than running to raise money for a cause that has helped me and so many others to LIVE.
