Thank you for all of your support

It was a tough challenge, keeping it going through the month, as for a non-runner it was hard on my body.  However, I admit it did make me fitter, and it was great getting outdoors. Still have a love hate relationship with running. I am hoping next year we will be able to sync Apple Watch data as this would make it easier for updating you all as those who know me I am hopeless online.  According to my watch my VO2 max improved, as did my HRV and resting HR.  Yay!

Thank you for all who have dontated to this important cause.  Heart disease remains the number 1 killer of NZ women and men though we often think of Cancer first.  The donations go towards the important mahi the HF does from training our new cardiologists, research that improves outcomes for NZers and of course the important prevention work that we do through the education settings to help prevent the next generations from developing heart disease.  So a big thank you!  Nathaniel was my running buddy and he wanted to show of his HF my marathon shirt to promote the cause.  Fortunately it was a lovely afternoon for a run.

This May, I’m taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.

Every 90 minutes, a person dies of heart disease. It's the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and I want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
