Support our challenge to save Kiwi hearts.
This May, we're taking part in MyMarathon to raise funds for heart research that will help save lives.
Nearly two years ago we lost our dad suddenly to cardiovascular disease. It was a silent and quick killer that we were not prepared for.
Heart disease is the single biggest killer in New Zealand, and we want to do something to support the thousands of Kiwis whose lives are impacted by this disease every single day.
Pasifika and Māori communities are disproportionately affected by CVD in Aotearoa. Our experts deserve more funding for research and resources to tackle disparities. Together, we can win the race against heart disease.
Our dad Ben used to love fitness. He enjoyed morning spin classes, diving, hunting, fishing, rugby, swimming, boxing and the gym. He cared deeply about everyone around him. His heart conditions came as a huge shock to us all, especially knowing how passionate he was about his fitness. We miss our dad more than anything.
